Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends of the Nathan Peter Levinson Foundation, On Thursday, November 28, the Nathan Peter Levinson Foundation invites you to an evening of remembrance at the University of Potsdam. Nathan Peter Levinson (23.11.1921-27.10.2016) was a Berlin rabbi, scientist, author and an important figure in Jewish life in Germany after the Shoah. With this event, we would like to commemorate Rabbi Levinson and his legacy and also celebrate the opening of the foundation named after him for the training of conservative and liberal rabbis and cantors. The evening’s program will include a lecture on Nathan Peter Levinson’s life and work as well as recollections from his daughter and others who knew him personally. The event will be accompanied by contemporary Jewish live music. Afterwards there will be space for informal discussions.
